JAMMU, Mar 2: Senior BJP leader and former Dy CM, Kavinder Gupta here today released video album ‘Chalo Chale Shiv Khori’.
Speaking on the occasion, Gupta claimed that BJP is committed to preserve Dogra culture and heritage.
He said that J&K has immense talent but it needs to be explored and honed by providing platform to the local artists enabling them to display their hidden talent and skills.
The BJP leader said there is dire need to encourage local artists who can promote rich folk-lore of this region.
He asserted that it becomes our duty to keep encouraging our artists so that they may vigorously pursue the mission with utmost enthusiasm.
“Dogra cultural heritage is identity of the people of Jammu and we cannot afford to lose it,” Gupta maintained lauding PM Modi’s advice through ‘Mann Ki Baat’ to promote mother tongue.
He demanded an independent and full-fledged Duggar Satellite Channel for local artists of J&K especially for the people of Jammu region.
Kavinder also appreciated the efforts of Singer Abhi Kotra, Director R.J Rajput, Composer Raghuvanshi Brothers -Deepak and Ravi, Musician Surinder Manhas and Composer Sanjay Vidrohi in making the video album.
