Police reunites six missing persons with families

JAMMU, Mar 3: Six missing persons were today reunited with their families by Jammu Police.
“Six different complaints were lodged at different police stations of district Jammu. While missing report of a lady was lodged at Police Station Gandhinagar, two different missing reports of two ladies were registered at Police Station Miran Sahib, missing report of a girl at Police Station Janipur, missing report of a girl at Police Station Domana and another missing report of a girl at Police Post Pounichak,” a police spokesperson said.
He said acting on the missing reports, special police teams were constituted to investigate the cases and traced the missing persons. “After hectic efforts and with the help of technical assistance along with timely human intervention, police succeeded in tracing all the missing persons,” the spokesperson said. He added subsequently, families of the missing persons were informed and all the traced persons were handed over to their respective family members after completing all the legal formalities.
The recoveries were made by SHO Police Station Gandhinagar Inspector Pankaj Sharma, SHO Police Station Miran Sahib Inspector Sultan Mirza, SHO Police Station Janipur Inspector Ajaz Haider, SHO Police Station Domana Inspector Mahesh Sharma and Incharge Police Post Pounichak PSI Nitish Khajuria, respectively.
