JAMMU, Mar 3: Bagh-e-Bahu Police solved a theft case by arresting a thief and recovering stolen cash of Rs 12000 from their possession.
“Acting on a theft complaint, a case FIR number 19/2022 U/S 454/380 IPC was registered at Police Station Bagh-e-Bahu, Jammu and to solve the case, special police teams of Police Station Bagh-e-Bahu under the supervision of SDPO East Syed Zaheer Abbas Jafari were constituted,” a police spokesman said.
He said the team led by SHO Police Station Bagh-e-Bahu Inspector Arjun Singh Chib after making strenuous efforts rounded up a suspect namely Deepak Kumar alias Deepu son of Amit Kumar alias Manga, resident of Kalka Colony (Bahu Fort, Jammu).
“During sustained questioning, the accused confessed his involvement in the theft case and on his disclosure stolen cash of Rs 12,000 was recovered from his possession,” the spokesman said, adding, further investigation of the case was going on.
