Govt urged to sanction IL72 for aspirants of Ladakh Police posts

KARGIL Mar 4: Mohd Hassanain Rocky, Convener Students Cell BJP Kargil, UT Ladakh, today urged the Government to sanction IL 72 aircraft for the aspirants of Ladakh Police posts, the recruitment for which has been scheduled from March 15 onwards.
In separate representations to Lt Governor Manoj Sinha; CEC Kargil, Feroz Khan and BJP General Secretary (Org), Ladakh & J&K UT, Ashok Koul, Mohd Hassanain has said that many candidates, who have applied for the Police posts from Ladakh, are presently in Jammu, Srinagar, Chandigarh, Delhi and other cities of the country.
On the one hand, the Srinagar-Kargil highway is closed due to snowfall and on the other hand, the air fare to Leh, either from Jammu or Srinagar, is very high and expensive to travel, he explained and urged to kindly sanction IL72 aircraft from Jammu and Srinagar, especially for the candidates so that they can reach Ladakh on time for the said exam.
