JAMMU, Aug 17: Relief material kits including polythene sheets (Tarpal) and blankets were distributed at Panchayat Halqa Jandrah amongst land slide affected people.
On the initiative of Sarpanch Anil Sharma, the Jandrah Panchayat approached the Red Cross Jammu and District Administration Jammu which provided relief material to the affected people who are taking shelter in the Government school buildings.
Sher Singh, ACR Jammu along with Naib Tehsildaar Jandrah Mohd Aslam supervised the overall distribution event.
The villages like Dhan, Nagola, Kajala, Kalhar, Kishanpur and Sagon all falling under Niabat Jandrah were distributed with relief material.
