47 cases in J&K, 11 in Ladakh

JAMMU/SRINAGAR/ LEH, Mar 5: Jammu and Kashmir today reported 47 COVID positive cases while the Union Territory of Ladakh recorded 11 positives.
Thirty cases were registered in Jammu division and 17 in Kashmir.
Jammu district reported 18 positives followed by four in Kishtwar, two each in Udhampur, Doda and Ramban and one each in Rajouri and Kathua districts.
Samba, Reasi and Poonch districts didn’t add any cases.
As against 30 new cases, daily recoveries stood at 55 bringing down number of active positive cases to 193.
All 11 COVID positive cases in the UT of Ladakh were reported from Leh district.
Ladakh now has 125 active positive cases including 123 in Leh and two in Kargil.
Meanwhile, Kashmir today reported 17 fresh cases of COVID-19.
Those who tested positive include 6 from Srinagar, 3 from Baramulla, 3 from Budgam, 3 from Kupwara, and 2 from Bandipora.
With the fresh cases, the number of cases in Kashmir division has reached 287,147 including 284,537 recoveries and 2,423 deaths.
The number of active cases in Jammu and Kashmir are 380 including 187 from Kashmir division.
With 79 more recoveries, the tally of total recoveries in Jammu and Kashmir has reached 448,085 which is 98.87 percent of the total cases.
