SRINAGAR, Aug 17: Two persons were crushed to death by train during its trail run in South Kashmir district of Anantnag today.
The train was on its trail run between Forah and Monghal Stations in South Kashmir this afternoon, after few coaches were added to it, when the two persons were crushed to death.
One of the dead has been identified as Ghulam Mohi-ud-Din Mir, 50 resident of Sherpora, Anantnag and other person was identified as Ghulam Mohammad Bhat of Monghal Anantnag.
When the news spread in the area, a large crowd gathered at the incident site but due to the deployment of Railway Police personals, the crowd dispersed smoothly.
People in Anantnag later protested against the Railway authorities.
