NOWSHERA, Mar 6: A Forest Deptt team led by Divisional Forest Officer Nowshera, Neelima Shah raided village Garan and seized logs of Khairwood which were illegally felled in the area.
After getting the information from reliable source, the DFO Nowshera conducted search operation in the village and seized 20 logs of khair which were illegally felled. A team was assisted by Ved Parkash Block Forest Officer Daramsaal and Rangeel Singh Block Forest Officer Sunderbani. The raid was conducted under the direct supervision of Vivek Verma, Conservator of Forests West Circle, Rajouri.
