SRINAGAR: Army today foiled an infiltration bid in Keran sector on the Line of Control (LoC) in the frontier district of Kupwara.
Sources said that troops along the LoC near Bimla Post in Keran sector observed movement of a group of 7-8 militant who were trying to infiltrate.
Troops challenged them and one of them was injured and he was seen being dragged by his colleagues toward the other side of the LoC into Pakistan Occupied Kashmir (PoK).
