People frustrate under present regime: NC

JAMMU, Mar 7: Former Minister and senior N.C leader Babu Rampaul today said that the educated youths of J&K are frustrated and hopeless as majority of them are going to be over -aged and Central Government should announce special employment package for them.
Addressing a meeting of workers at Doulhi Jatta in Kathua district today, he said the business community has suffered adversely in J&K and it has pinned their high hopes in NC for mitigation of their sufferings.
The meeting was organized by vice-president Central Zone and co-ordinator district, Kathua, Rural B, JKNC. Javed Rana former MLA and senior NC leader, Mohinder Singh provincial vice-president JKNC, and Sham Narain Mehta district, president of the party were guests of honour on this occasion.
Rampaul criticised the stoppage of practice of ‘Darbar move’ by the Government as it has adversely affected the business community.
He pin-pointed that BJP had betrayed the people of J&K which had made lot of false promises to them including good governance, but it has failed to deliver good to the people on ground,.
Javed Rana former MLA, while addressing the meeting criticized the Central Government for abolition of Article 370. He said that the special status was a guarantee for the protection of the rights of J&K people who are at disadvantage due to certain topographical conditions. The revocation of special status has resulted in miseries to people. “Our resources are now being exploited from big business houses from outside whereas there is no development on ground at all,. Therefore, the only way out is restoration of Article 370 and special status to J&K”, he added.
