RAJOURI, Mar 7: The police has arrested a youth for committing rape on a young girl in Budhal area of Rajouri district.
A police spokesman said that 22-year-old, Mohd Nawaj, son of Abdul Rehman, resident of Bagga in Mahore was arrested by police today after conducting series of raids. The girl stated that the accused caught hold of her late last evening when she had gone to respond natural call nearby her house.
Later, the girl narrated the matter to her parents who lodged an FIR No. 12/2022 at Budhal Police Station. The police was further investigating the matter.
