UDHAMPUR, Mar 7: A house was completely gutted in fire at Pachound Patlani, here last night.
Even as there was no loss of life or injuries to the family members, all the household items were reduced to ashes. The incident took place at the house of Onkar Chand, son of Isher Dass of Pachound Patlani.
Taking cognizance of the matter and urgency of help to the victim family, Tehsildar Latti Paramdeep Singh along with field staff visited the spot physically by covering a distance of 16 km on foot and provided instant relief material to the victim family.
Besides, Tehsildar Latti also assured that the relief case for financial assistance would be submitted shortly to higher authority, said Sarpanch Latti, K L Gupta.
