Modi Govt committed to development: Billawaria

BJP senior leader, Baldev Singh Billawaria kick starting construction of slab of a hall at Ward 56 on Monday.

JAMMU, Mar 7: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) senior leader, Baldev Singh Billawaria kick started the slab work of second floor of Dogra Sewa Sambhal Trust here at Ward 56 Gangyal, Ram Leela Ground in Gandhi Nagar constituency today.
Billawaria was accompanied by Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC) Chairman, Raj Kumar Tarkhan, councilor Ward 68, Anil Kumar, councilor 53, Jyoti Devi, Trust president, Rajeev Sharma, Executive Engineer, Satish Langar, AEE Khalid Iqbal and others.
Speaking on the occasion, Billawaria said that before victory as councilor of the Ward it was his dream that he would do something bigger for the Ward and will not remain confined to construction of lanes and drains only.
He said that after the construction of the hall, the people of the surrounding areas will get benefits and they as well as people of the locality will be able to perform their small and big functions in this hall. He said that the Congress and its allies have looted the people of Jammu and Kashmir in the name of development, while the Government of, Narendra Modi is working on the basic mantra of “Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas and Sabka Prayas” and every single scheme launched by him is proving to be a boon for the poor.
Billawaria said that he is working towards redressal of the problems being faced by the weaker and backward sections of the society and it is indeed a matter of satisfaction for him that he is able to do any kind of expansion.
He said that the Modi Government is committed to the overall development of the people with special focus on infrastructure development and social welfare. He highlighted the various schemes of the Modi Government for infrastructure development, which will change the landscape in the country and help make India a developed nation. He urged the people to give full support to the BJP in the up-coming Assembly elections so that those areas are also developed which have been deprived of it till date.
