JAMMU, Mar 9: Senior BJP leader and former Minister, Sat Sharma along with Jeet Kumar Angral, former Chairman Social Justice Committee and JMC Councillor here today inaugurated developmental work at Shree Guru Ravi Dass Ji Chowk in Krishna Nagar area of Ward 12.
Speaking on the occasion Sat Sharma said that under smart city project, rotaries are to be developed from Dogra Chowk to K.C Chowk with an estimated expenditure of Rs. 80 crore and under that proposal the developmental work of Guru Ravi Dass Rotary has been started today.
Jeet Angral, former Chairman said the Chowk has been named after Shree Guru Ravi Dass Ji and this developmental work has jointly been funded by Smart City Project and Rs. 28 lakh has been given from Councillor’s fund.
He said that with the support of Ward people he will work hard to make the Ward a modern one in Jammu city.
Keshav Chopra, Mandal Adhyaksh; SC Morcha vice president, Krishan Dingra; Yashpal Shivgotra, Om Parkash, president of Street Vendors; Madal Lal and others were also present on the occasion.
