JAMMU, Mar 9: A delegation of PHE Employees United Front led by J&K UT president , Ravinder Raina moved to Raj Bhawan to meet Lt Governor, Manoj Sinha and submit a memorandum with regard to the regularization of PHE daily wagers here this evening.
A spokesman of the Front, Ravi Hans said that during PHE workers’ protest outside the residence of BJP president Ravinder Raina on Tuesday, he had talked to Governor seeking time for the meeting. Today, 5 pm time was given to the delegation by the Raj Bhavan authorities for meeting.
Principal Secretary to Lt Governor, Niteshwar Kumar received the memorandum and met the delegation as the LG’s health was not good. Niteshwar Kumar listened to the grievances of the PHE delegation during meeting and told that he would bring the issue to the notice of Lt Governor . He also assured to resolve the issue after holding discussion with some top Government functionaries.
Besides, Ravi Hans, other Front leaders Mohan Lal, Navdeep Singh, Rajinder Singh Taj, Hoshiyar Singh accompanied Ravinder Raina.
