Nukad Natak under Civic Action Programme held

RAMBAN, Mar 9: Ramban Police under the banner of Civic Action Programme organised Nukad Natak in Government Higher Secondary School, here on the theme ‘Drug Abuse”.
The Nukad Natak was showcased by Natrang Theatre and the theme was specifically chosen as drug abuse is widely spreading in the society.
Under Civic Action Programme, J&K Police strives to strengthen the bond with its people especially the youth and to channelize them in right direction to keep them mentally and physically fit so that they remain away from Drug addiction.
The Natrang Theatre Team headed by Neeraj Kant Sharma was welcomed by Additional SP Rajni Sharma, after which they presented the show in which ‘Drug Abuse’ remained the main focus.
The function was attended among others by DDC Chairperson Ramban Dr Shamshada Shan, DDC Member Ramban Rakesh Singh, Chairperson Municipal Committee Sunita Devi, DC Ramban Massarat ul Islam and SP Ramban Mohita Sharma.
Later, DDC Chairperson Ramban expressed her concern on the growing menace of drug and vowed to fight this menace together while owning responsibilities of every stake holder.
In the end, SP Ramban Mohita Sharma presented vote of thanks.
