SRINAGAR, June 6: One person died while three others were injured in different road accidents across the Kashmir valley.
Reports said an Alto car bearing registration number JK05B/0807 hit and injured a pedestrian namely Ghulam Ahmed Teli son of Ghulam Nabi resident of Kanispora, Baramulla area. The injured was shifted to District Hospital and later referred to SKIMS Soura where he succumbed to his injuries. The driver along with the vehicle fled the spot. A case has been registered in this regard.
A Santro Car bearing registration number JK05/3047 hit and injured a pedestrian namely Zaiba (75), wife of Ghulam Mohammad Malla resident of Batingoo Sopore. The injured was shifted to hospital for treatment. A case has been registered in this regard.
An Alto Car bearing registration number JK18/2091 on way from Srinagar to Anantnag turned turtle near Petrol Pump Jugteng-Sangam, Bijbehara. The mishap resulted in injuries to two persons namely Sartaj Ahmed, son of Ghulam Mohammad resident of Dardaguynd-Kulgam and Jehangir Ahmed Rather, son of Ghulam Nabi resident of Sopat-Qazigund. The injured were shifted to Sub District Hospital, Bijbehara and later referred to SKIMS, Soura, Srinagar.
