LOS ANGELES/NEW YORK, Aug 19:  “Lee Daniels’ The Butler,” a civil rights drama starring Forest Whitaker and Oprah Winfrey, surpassed expectations and easily won the weekend box office battle, debuting with 25 million dollars in US and Canadian ticket sales. Jennifer Aniston comedy “We’re the Millers” finished in the No. 2 slot, earning 17.8 million dollars in its second weekend, according to studio estimates.
