KISHTWAR, Mar 15: Two different vehicles which were involved in illegal mining were seized today by Kishtwar police.
“In a special drive against illegal mining, Chatroo police established nakas at different locations and seized a tipper and a Mahindra vehicle involved in illegal mining,” a police official said. He said the drivers of the vehicles namely Nazim Hussain son of Bashir Ahmed of Kurya Pull and Sajid Hussain son of Ab Majid of Kushall were also arrested.
He added that two separate FIRs under relevant sections of law have been registered in this connection at Police Station Chatroo and further investigation started.
