SAMBA, Mar 16: J&K BJP vice president, Surjeet Singh Slathia today said that J&K is entering best of the times under Prime Minister Modi with development taking centre stage and democracy flourishing in full bloom.
Addressing the people at Ramnagar in Samba district, Slathia said, while the developmental momentum is already in full gear, the Union Territory is all set to become an investment hub due to initiatives of the Centre, which will eventually lead to growth and generation of jobs for educated unemployed, skilled and unskilled workforce.
“The budget allocations approved by Parliament are reflective of the Centre’s intent to put J&K on the path of inclusive and holistic development, with every region and sub-region getting their due share,” he claimed.
Slathia referred to the impending elections to the Legislative Assembly and said it will not be only to choose the representatives but to shape the destiny of J&K for making it a most vibrant unit of strong India.
The BJP leader asked the party cadre to gear up for the big democratic exercise and to ensure blooming of lotus all over to ensure political stability, which holds key for satiating urges and aspirations of all segments of the society, especially women and youth.
