UDHAMPUR, Mar 16: Four members of a family among 12 passengers got injured when a Tempo was hit by a speeding Dumper near Malhar on the National Highway Udhampur.
According to the reports, the Dumper, bearing registration number JK02CS-1872 collided with Tempo JK06-6137, which was on its way from Jammu to Doda. Locals and Rehambal police rushed to the spot and shifted the injured persons to District Hospital Udhampur.
The injured were identified as Mafooz (51), son of Din Mohd of Muzaffarnagar Uttar Pradesh (UP), Nazira Begum (55) wife of Ab Latif (55) of Doda, Ab Latif (60) son of Abdul Alatara of Doda, Abdul Rehman Tantary (33) son of Abdul Latif of Doda, Reyaz Tantra (30) son of Abdul Latif of Doda, Mudasar Hussain (37) son of Sadllaha of Doda, Ashok Kumar (43) son of Ram Lal of Doda, Mohd Arshad son of Shouqat Ali of Muzafar Nagar (UP), Raj Devi (70) wife of Late Krishan Lal of Doda, Sayed Akhtar Hussain (65) son of Najamuddin of Doda, Gulfam Akhtar (55) wife of Sayed Akhter of Doda and Rohit Rakhwal son of Narinder Singh of Doda.
Condition of all the injured was stated to be stable.
