Vibodh highlights Modi’s vision of Naya J&K

RAJOURI, Mar 17: BJP J&K general secretary and former MLC, Vibodh Gupta today visited Thanamandi and interacted with people across sections and communities.
Later, he also paid obeisance at Shahdara Sharief, the revered shrine of Rajouri-Poonch and prayed for the peace and prosperity of Jammu and Kashmir.
While addressing people Vibodh highlighted the vision of New India as envisaged by PM Narendra Modi.
“The entire country is moving ahead with the pledge of a “New India” and this can be realised only when there is New Jammu and Kashmir. The Muslims of Rajouri-Poonch have been the strength of the nation and have rejected terrorism and Hurriyat at all levels,” said Vibodh.
He claimed that people from all sections are joining the party every day influenced by the welfare and development schemes of the Government and Prime Minister’s slogan of Sabka Sath, Sabka Vikas aur Sabka Vishwas.
He further said that BJP’s mission is to work for the country and its development which is also visible from the tremendous growth of J&K especially twin border districts of Rajouri- Poonch in the last seven years.
Speaking on the occasion, BJP district secretary , Abdul Ghani Shawl heaped praise on Vibodh Gupta for his relentless efforts during his tenure as MLC to get Rajouri to Surankote road via Thanamandi. Mandal Pardhan Zahid Ahmed said that Shahdara Sharief is the most revered shrine in the area and proposed that the grand hospital or a school shall be opened from the donations received from devotees. Young BJP leader Vicky Sharma also spoke on the occasion.
