Credit goes to Cong for all major projects in Nowshera: Ravinder

SUNDERBANI, Mar 20: JKPCC chief spokesperson and former MLC Ravinder Sharma has said that the credit for all major projects and institutions in Sunderbani – Nowshera, goes to Congress and challenged BJP and others to list single achievement in the area.
Addressing a series of meetings in Sunderbani-Nowshera area during his three days tour, Sharma questioned those raising fingers  and said that right from chain of educational and health institutions, network of roads, water and power supply system, the series of administrative institutions are the gifts of Congress in the area.
He said from one high school and few middle and primary schools, in eighties, Sunderbani tehsil area  has a degree college, six 10+2, over a dozen High Schools and number of middle and primary schools in  a distance of maximum 2 kilometers.
There are number of Anganwadi centres in each Panchayat, Health centres and Veterinary centres besides network of power including Siot Grid Station and water supply in almost each village, hamlet connecting newly entire population with few shortfalls. He further said that a road network of pacca and fair weather roads was laid in various unconnected areas  through R&B, PMGSY, Rural Development besides GREF and upgraded from time to time.
Sharma said from one Allopathic dispensary to full fledged 100 beded hospital with Rs 18.50 crore upgradation project sanctioned by UPA , still undergoing at both places along with dozens of PHCs and nearly hundred other medical institutions in Sunderbani- Nowshera.
Several major and minor irrigation projects like Rajal-Siot, Beripattan, Thandapani, Thumba Nahoti, Thandapani-Bakhar, Leeki Saleri Hathal and many others, all are Congress gifts in the area.
Ex-MLC said that Sunderbani was given Tehsil status in 1973 and now it has an additional district, three tehsils, six Niabats and two BDO blocks.  One more BDO block and a Niabat sanctioned by previous Government for Devak on Oct 20, 2014  was cancelled by BJP Government.
He said massive development and creation of administrative units was done by UPA Govt and Congress -PDP and Congress-NC Coalition Government in Jammu and Kashmir.  Several projects sanctioned and initiated by Congress in the area are still pending completion as a result people are suffering, he added.
