Gurmeet Randhawa puts deep drain to public use

JAMMU, Mar 20: Senior BJP leader and Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC) Councillor, Gurmeet Kour Randhawa here today put the newly constructed deep drain to public use in Sainik Colony area of Ward 69.
The work got complete after incurring an expenditure of Rs. 35 lakh and will now solve the water stagnation problem in Sector-G of Sainik Colony.
Raising their demands people of the Ward demanded CCTV cameras at all the prominent road crossings for surveillance in Sainik Colony.
The Councillor informed that the General House Meeting of JMC has already passed the resolution of CCTV cameras and the same will be installed under the Jammu Smart City Project.
She also said that PHE department is working for improvement of water supply in Sainik Colony and is laying additional pipeline for the same.
“Work for a new tube well is likely to start in next financial year,” she maintained urging the Ward residents to keep the Colony clean and use garbage collection vehicles for disposal of garbage.
The Councillor claimed that she was trying her best to implement PM Modi’s vision of ‘Sabka Sath, Sabka Vikas and Sabka Vishwas’.
Komal Sharma, Pooja, Radha, Randeep Rana, Satpal Choudhary and others were also present on the occasion.
