Pak again violates ceasefire, 34 violations reported in 14 days in Poonch

JAMMU :  Pakistan again violated ceasefire by firing at India posts along the Line of Control today, while in 14 days so far 34 violations have been reported along the border in Poonch district.
Pakistan Army at around 1205 hrs again violated the truce  in Poonch Sector by firing small arms and automatics.
“Own troops retaliated effectively with similar calibre weapons while no casualty of damage has been reported,” official spokesman here said.
Last night Pakistan troops violated truce twice in  Hamirpur Sector and Poonch Sector.
Pakistan targeted Indian posts along the LoC by firing  small arms, automatics and mortas on Indian posts in  Hamirpur area of Mendhar at around 2130 hrs.
He said the firing lasted for about one hour.
“The Pakistan troops also opened fire at our posts  in Mendhar sector of Poonch from 2230 hrs to 2300 hrs,”  he said adding that own troops effectively retaliated.
No injury or any damage on our side has been reported,  said the spokesman.
So far in 14 days, Pakistan has violated the ceasefire violation 34 times along the LoC in Poonch alone,  sources added.
