POONCH, Mar 21: The police seized a JCB and a vehicle for illegal mining in Surankote area of Poonch district today.
Official sources said that in an incidents of illegal mining at Suran river, a case FIR No. 34/2022 U/S 379 IPC and 3/4 Damaged to Public Property Act stands registered at Police Station Surankote and investigation initiated.
During the course of investigation one Tipper bearing Reg. No. JK02AH- 4897 and a JCB without Number were seized in the case and driver/ operator of the vehicles got arrested.
