3 lady pick-pocketers arrested, stolen cash recovered

JAMMU, Mar 21: Domana Police arrested three lady pick-pocketers and recovered stolen cash from their possession.
As per police sources, a complaint was lodged with Police Station Domana in which the complainant stated about theft of cash from his pocket while travelling in a mini-bsu from Purkhoo to Paloura.
Acting over the complaint, a case under FIR Number 95/2022 under Section 379 IPC was registered at Police Station Domana and investigation started.
During the course of investigation, a special team from Police Station Domana led by SI Vijay Kumar was constituted to solve the case and nab the culprits.
The team put in hectic efforts and after analysing CCTV cameras footages arrested three women, who confessed their involvement in the said case.
The arrested ladies were identified as Yasmeena Begum, wife of Farooq Ahmed Sheikh of Chankhan Pora Sopore, Sakeena Begum, wife of Bahadur Sheikh of Parimpora Srinagar and Hajra Begum, wife of Abdul Rasheed of Chankhan Pura Sopore. On their disclosure, the stolen cash of Rs 6700 has been recovered.
The investigation into the case is going on and more arrests and recovery is likely to be made.
The arrests have been made under the guidance of SHO Domana Inspector Mahesh Sharma, SDPO Domana Sunil Singh and SP Rural Jammu Sanjay Sharma.
