Two absconders arrested

JAMMU, Mar 21: Bahu Fort Police arrested two absconders, who were at large since long.
As per police sources, on reliable information a team from Police Station Bahu Fort conducted raid and apprehended an absconder, who was evading his arrest since long.
The accused was identified as Farooq Ahmed, son of Nazir, a resident of Dharmari District Reasi.
He was wanted in a case registered FIR Number 30/2007 under Sections 279, 337 and 338 RPC with Police Station Bahu Fort. Arrest warrant under Section 512 CrPC also stands issued against him the Court.
Meanwhile, the similar team also arrested another absconder, who was at large since long.
The accused was identified as Avtar Singh, son of Surinder Singh, a resident of Sehora Bishnah District Jammu.
He was wanted in a case registered under FIR Number 78/2016 under Sections 379, 427 and 201 RPC with Police Station Bahu Fort. Arrest warrant also stands issued against him by the Court.
Further investigation into the cases registered against these absconders is going on.
Police team led by SHO Bahu Fort Inspector Nayat Ali made the arrests under the supervision of SDPO East Syed Zaheer Abbas Jafari and SP South Mamta Sharma.
