BSF Sub Inspector commits suicide

RAJOURI, Mar 22: A Sub Inspector of Border Security Force (BSF), posted in Sunderbani area of the Line of Control alleged to have committed suicide in his official quarter.
Official sources said that at around 6 pm on Tuesday, BSF Sub Inspector, Ladup Bomzan (49 yrs), hailing from Siliguri in West Bengal allegedly committed suicide by hanging from ceiling fan in his quarter.
It was reported that the official joined duty recently after completion of leave. He committed suicide by hanging from a ceiling fan hook inside his quarter. He was staying alone here.
The matter was reported to Police Station Sunderbani. The police party shifted the body to Sub District Hospital, Sunderbani and doctors completed post mortem formalities. Police after completion of legal formalities handed over the body to the unit officials.
