MENDHAR, Mar 24: Alert Army men seized four packets of narcotic substance from a Tata Mobile vehicle during checking in Balakote area.
Reports said a Tata Mobile vehicle, bearing registration No JK11C-9009 coming from Kaga Chaperdera towards Manjakote, reached at Baryani Army gate. During checking by Army troops four packets of Narcotic substance were recovered from the vehicle.
The driver of the vehicle namely- Shierbaz Ahmed, son of Mohd Sarwar, resident of Galuti and his associate Mahmood Khan, son of Mohd Aslam, resident of Gulati were taken into custody. The vehicle was also seized. They were shifted to Police Post, Balakote. Further investigation was in progress.
