DODA, Mar 24: Police has taken a notorious drug peddler into preventive custody and lodged him in District Jail Bhaderwah.
As per police sources, a person namely Amir Ahmed, son of Noor Din Malik of Pattan District Baramulla, at present Akrmabad District Doda has been taken into preventive custody by police on the orders of Executive Magistrate Doda, who have been found involved in illegal activities especially narcotic smuggling and addiction.
A detailed report of his involvement in illegal activities was prepared by Doda Police and submitted before the Executive Magistrate Doda, who issued detention order under preventive sections of law. The accused person was sent to judicial custody in District Jail Bhaderwah.
