REASI, Mar 25: 14 passengers were injured, two of them serious, when a minibus turned turtle on the Reasi-Pouni road near Thanda Paani area of Pouni, here today.
The minibus, bearing registration number JK20- 1927 was going from Reasi to Pouni when it met with the accident. The injured were immediately shifted to CHC Pouni for treatment from where five of them were referred to District Hospital Reasi for advanced treatment.
In view of serious condition of two accident victims, they were further referred to GMC Hospital Jammu. They were identified as Jhanvi, daughter of Mohd Sadiq of Saloon and Ashutosh son of Devinder Kumar.
The other injured were identified as Lalita Devi (45), wife of Madan Gopal of Pouni, Mohd Sadiq (29), son of Rashid Mohd of Pouni, Rafiq Mohd (32), son of Rashid Mohd of Saloon, Suraj Ram (55), son of Kaka Ram of Ransoo, Nitu (32), wife of Mohd Sadiq of Dhanwa, Swarna Devi (55), wife of Kartar Chand of Pouni, Makhani Devi (42), wife of Bhawan Dass of Lehar Pouni, Pooja Devi (25), wife of Joginder Kumar of Darooni Pouni, Suraj Ram (55), son of Kaka Ram of Ransoo, Dhani Ram (60), son of Sita Ram of Kahana Pouni, Mohd Ashraf (44), son of Gulam Ahmed of Gool and Neetu Sharma (32), wife of Devinder Kumar of Kahana Pouni.
