JAMMU, Mar 25: The Commissioner of Jammu Municipal Corporation, Avny Lavasa conducted a tour of Ward number 9 and took stock of the sanitation scenario.
Accompanied by the concerned officers of JMC along with concerned Councillor, Suneet Kumar, the Commissioner visited areas of the ward and observed the sanitation scenario besides taking stock of lanes and drains.
The Commissioner directed the Executive Engineer concerned for preparing the estimates for the lanes/drains which require immediate repair/renovation to ease sufferings of the residents. She also issued on the spot directions to the Sanitation Officer/staff for providing proper sanitation in the ward.
The Commissioner also listened to grievances of the residents of the ward who assured full cooperation to Jammu Municipal Corporation for better well being of the ward.
The Commissioner JMC appealed to all residents of the city to come forward and join hands with Jammu Municipal Corporation so that they can jointly work for making the city number one in respect of sanitation scenario.
