Dwarka Chowdhary starts lane-drain, blacktopping work

JAMMU, Mar 28: Senior Congress leader and Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC) Councilor, Dwarka Nath Chowdhary started road blacktopping and lane-drain work at Sector-3, Sanjay Nagar in Ward 46.
The work will be completed at an expenditure of Rs. 15.50 lakh and the condition of the road, lane and drain was very bad due to which the locals of the area and passersby faced a lot of problems while passing through the road and the lane.
Speaking on the occasion Chowdhary asked the people of his Ward to cooperate JMC in developmental works.
He said that the people should avoid single use plastic and polythene.
The Councillor urged upon the locals to stop throwing garbage and debris in lanes and drains and help JMC in making the Jammu city neat and clean.
He also asked the people to segregate wet and dry garbage at their own level.
Many locals including S. Mahinder Singh, S. Balbir Singh, Harbans Lal Sharma, Vijay Kumar, Ashok Kumar, Satish Kumar Sharma and others were also present on the occasion.
