JUET: Over 1300 candidates appear in Botany combination

JAMMU, June 7: Over thirteen hundred candidates appeared in the Botany combination of the ongoing Jammu University Entrance Test (JUET) here today, conducted by the University across the State.
As per the handout issued by the Office of the Public Relations, University of Jammu, 1870 candidates appeared in the four subjects (Botany, Psychology, Home Science and Buddhist Studies) of the Jammu University Entrance Test (JUET) at nine centers including Jammu, Kathua, Poonch, Rajouri, Srinagar, Udhampur, Reasi, Bhaderwah and Leh.
A total of 1508 candidates have applied for Botany combination, out of which 1373 candidates appeared in the test while 135 candidates were absent.
In Psychology combination, 437 candidates have applied and 374 candidates appeared and rest were absent where as in Home Science combination, out of 94 candidates who had applied 90 candidates appeared in the test and 4 were absent.
In Buddhist Studies combination, 33 candidates appeared in the test out of a total of 49 candidates who have applied for the same while 16 were absent.
