JAMMU, Mar 29: Satwari Police arrested an absconding kidnapper-cum-rapist, who was evading his arrest from the past four years.
As per police sources, on specific information a team from Police Station Satwari led by SHO Inspector Sameer Jiilani under the supervision of SDPO South Sachit Sharma conducted raid and apprehended an absconding kidnapper-cum-rapist, who was at large since 2018.
The accused was identified as Parveen Kumar, son of Sewa Ram, a resident of Jinder Mellu Tehsil RS Pura District Jammu.
He was wanted in a case registered under FIR Number 23/2018 under Sections 363, 376 and 342 RPC with Police Station Satwari. Further investigation into the case is going on.
