RAJOURI, Mar 29: A youth was electrocuted at Kotranka town in district Rajouri this afternoon.
The deceased was identified as Imran Hussain (19), son of Talib Hussain, resident of Mohra village in Kotranka tehsil. The youth was trapped in the live electric wires near Irrigation ground and sustained serious electric shocks.
He was rushed to local hospital where doctors declared him as brought dead. The body was sent to mortuary of the hospital for postmortem and after performing legal formalities by police, handed over to the family for last rites. The police has taken cognizance of the matter.
