SRINAGAR, Mar 30: Warm send off was accorded to the retiring officers.
IRP 11th Battalion hosted a function at DPL Anantnag to bid adieu to 10 officers of the Unit who were superannuating at the end of this month.
Commandant of the unit Sandeep Mehta and the staff honoured each retiring officer with token gifts.
The highlight of the function was that all the retiring officers except one were handed over their pension papers complete in all respects from the AG office.
Those who were retiring include SI Mohammad Shafi Itoo, SI Ishtiyaq Ahmad, SI Farooq Ahmad, SI Mohammad Yaqoob, ASI Mushtaq Ahmad, ASI Mohammad Abdullah, ASI Abdul Rashid, ASI Mohammad Afzal, HC Abdul Rashid and HC Manzoor Ahmad.
The Commandant, Deputy Commandants and all other staff gave a warm send off to their colleagues.
Commandant of the unit Sandeep Mehta appreciated the services rendered by all the retiring police officers and wished them a happy and healthy post-retirement life.
