PG students represent IGGDC in PG Convention

JAMMU, Mar 30: The postgraduate students of the Department of Conservative Dentistry and Endodontics represented Indira Gandhi Govt Dental College (IGGDC) at 22nd IACDE (Indian Association of Conservative Dentistry and Endodontics) PG Convention, held at Rajahmundry, Andhra Pradesh from March 25 to 27.
The students participated in the Convention under the guidance of Prof and HOD, Dr Azhar Malik and co-guide, Dr Ajay Gupta (Associate Professor).
The students brought laurels to the Department and Institute by securing first prize in original research paper presentation and 3rd prize in poster presentation. Dr. Thaira Hamid is a second year PG student, while Dr. Insha Shafi and Dr. Sadiya Anayat of the first year students excelled in the paper presentation and poster presentation respectively.
Dr Sukhbir Kour (Registrar) also presented her paper in the Convention, whereas both Dr Azhar Malik and Dr Ajay Gupta chaired the scientific sessions for the guest lectures and PG students, respectively.
