JAMMU, Mar 30: Nowabad and Talab Tillo Police jointly arrested a drug peddler and recovered intoxicant ampoules from his possession.
As per police sources, on specific information a team from Police Station Nowabad led by SHO Inspector Vijay Sharma and assisted by Incharge Police Post Talab Tillo PSI Rajesh Kumar laid a naka and rounded up a suspect, who was moving under suspicious circumstances.
During checking, police team recovered 60 intoxicant ampoules from the possession of the suspect and arrested him.
The arrested person was identified as Rohit Sharma, son of Kuldeep Raj, a resident of Thangar Pallanwala District Jammu.
A case FIR Number 32/2022 under relevant Sections has been registered at Police Station Nowabad and investigation started to ascertain the source of the consignment and other persons involved in this illegal trade.
