NEW DELHI, Mar 30: Kashmiri Pandit Conference ( KPC), president, Kundan Kashmiri today stated that KPs stand firmly for one place settlement in Kashmir Valley.
In a statement he said there are no two thoughts in it as community has taken a decision in this regard in Margdarshan resolution. He said with whatever name we call it but the entire community is for one place settlement in Valley and has since rejected the settlement in ancestral places or in transit accommodations.
Addressing the activists of his organisation here today he said the community on the whole is hopeful that after showing truth about genocide of indigenous Pandits through the movie, ” The Kashmir Files” and acknowledgement of their genocide and atrocities by whole nation, even abroad after three decades, therefore the onus lies now on the Government, to ensure justice to the community.
He said it has been now proved that the Kashmiri Pandits, who are being called migrants, didn’t just leave their homes on their own but were forced to leave under a hatched conspiracy and a sinister game plan.
Kashmiri further stated that there can be no justice until there is complete dig out of truth that why this humanist and peace loving community got squeezed from 15 percent to one percent in Valley,. He cited one of the reason for the same the so called land reforms introduced by NC under which the Pandits were deprived of their ancestral land.
He said the present dispensation at the Centre and Union Territory have to be very serious towards the KPs and should constitute a Commission of Enquiry, investigate each and every incident of violence against them , issue white paper on their pathetic situation during, before and after the turmoil in Jammu and Kashmir, so that they get due justice via speedy trials.
Dr.H.LSaraf , general secretary KPC
