2 killed, 3 injured in road accidents

SRINAGAR, June 7: Two persons died while as three others were injured in different road accidents across the Kashmir valley.
Reports said that a truck bearing registration number JK03A/4922 hit a Scooty driven by Mehak aged 20 years daughter of Fayaz Ahmad Sofi resident of Hamdania Colony, Bemina, Srinagar at Tengpora Byepass. The girl died on the spot while her pillion Tooba Geelani daughter of Syed Reyaz Geelani resident of Hilal Abad, Qamarwari, Srinagar received injuries. The injured was shifted to hospital for treatment. A case has been registered in this regard.
A Tata Sumo bearing registration number RJ36/0047 driven by Nazir Ahmad Ganie son of Mohammad Ismail resident of Panzgam hit a lady Zooni wife of Ghulam Hassan Sheikh resident of Halmatpora, Kupwara near Kralpora, Kupwara. The injured was shifted to Sub District Hospital Kralpora for treatment, where she succumbed to her injuries. A case has been registered in this regard.
A Tata Sumo bearing registration number JK09/5681 hit and injured Mohammad Javaid Chalko aged 12 years son of Javid Ahmad resident of Kupwara at Bypass road, Kupwara. The injured was shifted to Sub district Hospital, Kupwara where from he has been referred to Bone and Joints Hospital, Srinagar for further treatment. A case has been registered in this regard.
A Tata Sumo bearing registration number JK03A/7369 on way from Aripal to Tral hit and injured a pedestrian Rashid Khan Gujar aged 50 years son of Fukar Khan resident of Bran Pathri, Nagbal near Kandistan, Awantipora. The injured was shifted to Sub District Hospital Tral, where from he was referred to Bone and Joints Hospital Srinagar for further treatment. A case has been registered in this regard.
