Ritu Singh gets recognition at 38th annual meet of FICCI FLO

JAMMU, Mar 31: Ritu Singh, chairperson of FICCI FLO Jammu-Kashmir Ladakh Chapter, got recognition at 38th annual meet of FICCI FLO in New Delhi.
The chief guest of the convention was Vice President of India M Venkaiah Naidu who acknowledged the tremendous contributions of FICCI FLO towards women empowerment and emphasized on the role of economic empowerment for women being the future of making India Aatmanirbhar. Naidu asserted that emphasis should be laid on three areas–women empowerment, rural development and educating the girl child, all of which FICCI FLO stands for.
Earlier, Ritu Singh presented FICCI FLO JKL Chapter’s annual report in the convention and briefed the participants about work undertaken by the JKL chapter.History was created as this was the first time a women-centric Chamber of Commerce and Industry from J&K got recognition and inclusion in a National Forum of this magnitude.
National President Ujjwala Singhania along with incoming president 2022-23 Jayanti Dalmia, vice president Sudha Shivkumar, the presidium, governing body members, past presidents, chapter & YFLO chairs, initiative heads of all 18 chapters Pan India lauded commendable work done by JKL Chapter in a short span of 10 months.
The two-day convention will conclude tomorrow with the address of Meenakshi Lekhi, Minister of State for External Affairs of India.
