JAMMU, Aug 24: J&K Branch of Northern India Regional Council (NIRC) of Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) hosted Sub-Regional Conference today.
On the occasion, Atul K Gupta, Central Council Member of ICAI, Vishal Garg, Chairman NIRC, office bearers and executive members of NIRC of ICAI were present.
Chairman J&K Branch of NIRC of ICAI Dalip K Kaul in his inaugural address welcomed the guests and emphasized on the importance of the topics of the conference.
Kapil Goel and Rajeev Khandelwal were the guest speakers on the occasion, who while speaking deliberated in length on important topics relating to income tax.
J&K Branch of ICAI also felicitated the senior members and newly qualified Chartered Accountants.
During the program, J&K Branch also awarded “RC Gupta Memorial” award, “Late Tilak Raj Malhotra Memorial Award and “Sudesh Sawhney Award” to the meritorious students of CA final examination 2012.
Secretary J&K Branch of ICAI, Anil Sharma conducted the proceedings, whereas Vikram Garg, Vice-Chairman presented vote of thanks.
Among others present were Shalay Razdan, treasurer, Sandeep Pachnanda, Deepak Kapahi, members of the executive committee, large number of Chartered Accountants and students.
