JAMMU, Apr 1: Senior BJP leader and former Deputy Chief Minister, Kavinder Gupta said that surfacing of former minister in PDP-Congress Government Babu Singh’s name in Hawala case is just tip of an iceberg because there are many political leaders in the previous Governments which were involved in such anti-national activities which resulted into deterioration of situation in erstwhile J&K State.
Addressing a gathering here at Qasim Nagar falling in Ward No 48, the former Deputy Chief Minister said that unraveling of the truth of former Minister in PDP-Congress Government in Hawala case has unfolded the fact that there are many more people who under guise of politic were doing things detrimental to the interests of the country. He said that under PM Narendra Modi’s Government each and every wrong doer will have to face the law because days have gone when those working against India were allowed to run Government in J&K.
The senior BJP leader said one thing is proved that people like Babu Singh were dancing on the tunes of Pakistan thus compromising the interests of the country under the nose of PDP and Congress parties. “The Hawala connection of Babu Singh will go a long way in decoding the conspiracy and it is likely that many big fish will come under scanner and might face the heat as PM Modi will spare no one who has committed crime against the country”, he said, adding that strengthening BJP in UT of J&K is a must to work out such anti-national cases and unveil the dark side of J&K’s politics which has brought in miseries for the innocent people who were hoodwinked time and again by the parties like PDP and Congress which harboured people like Babu Singh to dent the country’s interests and assisted Pakistan to unleash reign of terror in J&K through Hawala and other such illegal transactions.
Kavinder urged the people to support BJP for creating an atmosphere in J&K where there is no room left for terror mongers and corrupt rather every entity which matters will work for nation building and creating opportunities for the residents of the UT. He said that a BJP Government in J&K means unending development and peace for ever.
