JAMMU, Aug 24: National Panthers Party (NPP) has demanded dismissal of Omar Abdullah’s Government and imposition of Governor Rule for a short period to regroup the demoralized administration and activate the nationalist and secular forces in the State.
This was stated by Chief Patron of National Panther Party (NPP) Prof Bhim Singh in a letter addressed to Governor NN Vohra.
Prof Singh has urged the Governor to dismiss the Chief Minister, Omar Abdullah from his office as he has become a security risk on several accounts.
Omar Abdullah has allowed several Pakistani nationals designated as surrendered militants to enter the Indian Territory via Nepal in violation of International Laws and the Rules under the pretext of the so-called “Surrender and Rehabilitation Policy”.
He said that the Chief Minister had admitted on the floors of the State Assembly that 243 Pak-nationals had entered J&K who crossed over to Nepal from Pakistan. Omar Abdullah had deployed J&K Police on the Indo-Nepal borders to facilitate the entry of the terrorists coming from Pakistan to Nepal, Prof Singh added.
The latest development vis-à-vis the so-called “Surrender and Rehabilitation Policy” is being used by the ISI to implement its agenda of sabotage and violence in the Valley, he said, adding the entire State even peaceful places like Gool and Kishtwar have been inflamed in communal divide by the Government headed by Omar Abdullah.
