SAMBA, Aug 24: A leopard has created panic in Birpur and surrounding areas since a week now and people are scared to leave their houses especially after sun set.
According to reports the leopard which is roaming in the area freely for a week now has killed two goats one each, belonging to Vijay Kumar and Ram Chander residents of Birpur yesterday.
The reports said that today it also attacked and killed four goats of the two persons in the village which has generated a lot of panic among the people.
The residents have appealed the Wild Life authorities to apprehend the leopard and save their lives as well as of their pet animals.
