Three thieves arrested, stolen items recovered

SAMBA, Apr 2: Bari Brahmana Police worked out a burglary case with the arrest of three thieves and recovery of stolen items.
As per police sources, yesterday a complaint was lodged by Police Station Bari-Brahmana by a person namely Sukvinder Singh, son of late Surinder Pal Singh of Nanak Nagar District Jammu, owner of the factory Guru Nanak Packaging Bari Brahmana stating therein that some unknown thieves committed burglary in his factory and decamped with factory items worth around Rs 2 lakh.
Acting over the complaint, a case under FIR Number 68/2022 under Sections 454, 380 and 411 IPC was registered at Police Station Bari Brahmana and investigation started.
During the course of investigation, a team from Police Station Bari Brahmana conducted raids at various suspicious locations, questioned number of suspects and finally with the help of technical assistance succeeded in the arrest of three accused who have confessed their involvement in the commission of said crime.
The accused persons have been identified as Sushil Singh, son of Dhain Singh of Smailpur, Bari Brahmana, Ghulam Hussain, son of Abdul Rehman of Badhori, Bari Brahmana and Rahul Charak alias Ajay, son of Ajit Singh of Dasal Kartholi, Bari Brahmana.
On their disclosure, all the stolen items worth around Rs 2 lakh were recovered.
Further investigation is going on to ascertain their involvement in other theft cases.
Police team led by SHO Bari Brahmana Inspector Rakesh Sharma made the arrests under the supervision of SDPO Bari Brahmana Shivali Kotwal and SSP Samba Dr Abhishek Mahajan.
