JAMMU, Apr 2: Miran Sahib Police rescued abducted man within couple of hours.
As per police sources, a report was received at Police Station Miran Sahib that a person namely Reham Ali, a resident of Langotian was kidnapped by Maam Hussain and his associates from Kotli Mian Fateh area and taken to some unknown location.
These two groups had some altercation during a marriage ceremony in Laswara area of Bishnah and later Maam Hussain and his associates in a fit of rage kidnapped Reham Ali and took him to some unknown place.
Acting over the complaint, a case under FIR Number 36/2022 under Sections 364, 147 and 341 IPC was registered at Police Station Miran Sahib and hunt was launched to rescue the kidnapped person.
On specific information, a team from Police Station Miran Sahib led by SHO Inspector Mirza Sultan under the supervision of SDPO RS Pura Surinder Singh conducted raid in Vijaypur area of District Samba and rescued the kidnapped person.
However, the alleged kidnappers managed to escape from the spot and hunt is going on to nab them.
Further investigation into the case is also going on.
