JAMMU, Apr 3: Prominent doctors and others from medical fraternity and civil society joined Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) at party headquarter, Trikuta Nagar, Jammu.
J&K BJP president, Ravinder Raina accompanied by former Dy. CM, Kavinder Gupta, former Minister, Priya Sethi, district president, Vinay Gupta and others welcomed new entrants into the party fold.
Ravinder Raina, while welcoming the new entrants said that the prominent persons from civil society including Dr. Suman Abrol, Dr. Subhash Abrol, Shashi Bala and other prominent civil society members have today joined the family of BJP.
“BJP family welcomes them from the core of heart. Today, there is a wave in whole of Jammu & Kashmir in favour of BJP and people want to join and support the party which is due to the public welfare works executed dedicatedly and selflessly by the party” Raina said.
Raina added that every person from every region and every religion is willing to serve the society as member of BJP. He said that today, BJP is having 18 lakh members, two MPs and public representatives in the form of DDCs, councillors, Sarpanchs and Panchs. He said that imminent members of the society are joining the party with a strong belief that only BJP can develop the nation, which is evident by the plethora of public welfare works initiated and executed in the whole of J&K.
Kavinder Gupta greeted the new entrants said that people have owned the party in their hearts and they know that only BJP can give reliable development to all. He said that these joining clearly indicates the immense public support that the party enjoys and it will reflect in the Assembly elections. He asked the new entrants to strengthen the party and work with the principle of “nation first” in mind.
Priya Sethi who coordinated the programme said that increased participation of the prominent civil society members into the political field reflects that the faith of people over political system has increased with the dedicated public centric works of PM Modi. She wished good luck to the new entrants and asked them to work dedicatedly for the public with the party support.
